SPRING FELLOWSHIP DAY
and the Dedication of our New Chapel April 27, 2008
Our Fellowship Days are a special time for us here at Radio Missions. Twice a year, the last Sunday in
April and October, our friends gather from all over the United States and we have a gracious time
in our Lord. Some plan their vacation time so that they may be here and many begin arriving early in the week.
In recent times the Lord has led Pastor Pendarvis to hold services during the week leading up to our Fellowship Day. We have many gracious times hearing the preached Word
and singing the old-fashioned blood songs that you don't hear much any more.
Then Saturday afternoon we have a special time of praise and prayer. What blessings we receive sharing what the Lord has done for us, pouring out our hearts for our loved ones and friends as the lost cry unto
Him who is mighty to save.
Sunday morning dawns with a sense of holy festivity in the air as many gather
around the radio to hear the early-morning "Voice of Truth"
broadcast. Later everyone starts gathering at the chapel eager to see many they have not seen
for six months or more. Then we all settle down to hear the Bible School message at 10 o'clock and the Worship Hour by Pastor Pendarvis at 11 o'clock. After the services we all enjoy an old-fashioned "dinner on the grounds" out under the tent before we
have to say goodbye to many for another six months.
Make plans to come and join us! Let us know when you will arrive and how many will
be in your party and we will do our best to help you with accommodations. |
